Argentus is excited to be partnering with a large and rapidly growing transportation and supply chain organization on a search for a Transportation Director This is a newly created leadership opportunity focused on transforming and optimizing a critical billing and revenue operations function within a complex, high-volume operational environment.
The organization is investing heavily in process improvement, operational efficiency, and scalable financial operations, and is looking for a strong leader to help modernize billing capabilities while supporting future growth initiatives.
Reporting into senior finance leadership, the successful candidate will lead billing transformation initiatives, improve operational processes, strengthen controls and governance frameworks, and drive continuous improvement across billing operations.
This position will have significant exposure to process optimization, automation initiatives, reporting and analytics development, cross-functional stakeholder engagement, and organizational change management activities. Working closely with Finance, Operations, and leadership teams, you’ll help establish scalable billing processes that improve accuracy, efficiency, customer experience, and overall operational performance.
This role will also play a key part in evaluating billing systems, implementing automation opportunities, developing KPI reporting frameworks, and supporting process improvements designed to reduce cycle times and improve billing quality.

This opportunity is best suited for candidates with 7–10 years of experience in billing operations, finance operations, transportation, logistics, supply chain, or related environments, alongside demonstrated people leadership experience. Candidates with backgrounds in billing transformation, process optimization, systems implementation, continuous improvement, and change management will be particularly well suited for this opportunity.

Salary Target: $160,000 – $175,000 + Bonus
