Argentus is excited to be partnering with a large and complex public sector organization on a search for a Sourcing Specialist! This organization is undergoing several procurement modernization and transformation initiatives and is looking to add experienced procurement professionals to support strategic sourcing activities across a variety of operational and corporate categories.
This is a minimum 12-month contract opportunity supporting procurement transformation, strategic sourcing, and category management initiatives within a highly collaborative and stakeholder-driven environment.
The successful candidate will support end-to-end sourcing initiatives including RFx development, vendor evaluations, contract negotiations, supplier management, and procurement process improvement activities. Working closely with internal stakeholders across operations, facilities, finance, and vendor management functions, you’ll help drive sourcing strategies that align with operational requirements, procurement governance standards, and broader organizational objectives.
This role offers strong exposure to complex public sector procurement processes and will involve supporting procurement modernization initiatives, supplier consolidation efforts, and cross-functional sourcing programs designed to improve efficiency, compliance, and long-term value creation.

This opportunity is best suited for candidates with 5–7 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, ideally within public sector, facilities management, construction, property management, or similarly complex operational environments. Experience managing RFx processes, vendor negotiations, and procurement compliance activities is strongly preferred.
