Today Argentus is coming to you with another great role for a mid-career supply chain professional. Our client for this role is a disruptive startup in the technology space, with an AI and digital solution that has the promise of revolutionizing their product category. Today, they’re looking for a Senior Supply Chain Specialist for a full-time permanent role!
Working out of the company’s office in Downtown Toronto, this Senior Supply Chain Specialist will wear many hats, and be a key contributor to a variety of supply chain initiatives as the company continues to scale, with a focus on inventory analysis, inventory planning and purchasing. Working within the company’s Epicor ERP system, this individual will manage inbound supplier order creation and tracking, and monitor inventories on hand from the company’s suppliers, communicating regularly with vendors to make sure that orders arrive on-time and with the appropriate quality. In this role, you’ll work to plan the company’s inventory over a variety of time horizons as part of the S&OP process, and avoid overages or shortages in the company’s inventory position. You will generate reports and dashboards for senior leadership in the business to provide key insights about the suppliers’ inventory position and supply chain capabilities. With your background in the electronics industry (in particular OEMs, EMS and distributors), you’ll develop relationships with suppliers and work closely with them to avoid quality issues and ensure compliance with the company’s specifications. In short, this is a tremendously impactful supply chain role at an exciting, disruptive startup—with room to grow!
This role is a good fit for a candidate with considerable experience in inventory planning, inventory analysis, and purchasing within the electronics industry. (Please note: electronics industry experience is a requirement for this role, and candidates without this industry experience won’t be considered). Experience working with OEMs, EMS, distributors, and other electronics suppliers is a must, as is considerable experience working with ERP systems (ideally Epicor). Our client is looking for self-starting individuals with a strong background in entrepreneurial organizations, able to think outside the box and develop creative solutions to common supply chain problems. Note: this is not a logistics role. If this sounds like you, and you’re looking to move into a fantastic organization in Downtown Toronto, reach out to Argentus today! Call 416 364 9919 or send an email with your current resume to recruit@argentus.com.
