This company is an extremely innovative, maturing startup environment servicing some of the top companies in Canada. They have tapped Argentus to recruit for a number of Logistics roles, in this case a Warehouse / Logistics Manager!
Working out of the company’s facility in Richmond, B.C., this is a classic Warehouse/Logistics Manager position leading an impactful team across two facilities (25,000 square foot, as well as 100,000 square foot). This individual will manage all day-to-day operations within the Warehouse to ensure an exceptional level of customer service, safety, as well as team performance and cohesion, and innovation in the warehouse operations. You will also help develop KPIs and processes within the company’s high-growth / startup environment, hitting the ground running to solve complex issues and collaborate across the Supply Chain / operations function to avoid and rectify inventory issues as they arise.
Our client is looking for someone with 7+ years of warehousing / distribution experience, including at least 5+ years of experience in a leadership role managing a large workforce of hourly employees. Excellent team / people management skills are a must. This individual must also be highly technically savvy, working within various systems as the organization works to build out its Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
