Today, they’re looking to hire a strong Manager with people skills and an exceptional understanding of goods and material flow for their Warehouse & Logistics function!
Working out of the company’s facility in North West Toronto, Ontario, the Warehouse and Logistics Manager will manage and oversee inventory flow as a key leader within the Logistics team. This means management of labour budgeting and labour requirements, training, coaching, development, and leadership to ensure that the logistics team functions at the high level needed for a growing company. You’ll take on oversight for the company’s inbound product shipments and customer shipments, using WMS to ensure that all shipments and relevant Supply Chain data is logged within the company’s systems. You will also use a solid understanding of inventory management to keeping a close watch on inventory levels and ensure that orders and delivery requirements meet exceptional level of customer service. You will also regularly communicate with senior leadership and other key stakeholders within the business, updating them about the current warehousing and inventory position, as well as growth and performance of the Warehousing and Logistics team.
For this role, our client is looking for an individual with significant Warehousing and Logistics leadership experience, and a track record of creating a collaborative and productive working culture in a Warehouse setting. At least 3-5 years of this management experience is a must for this role, as well as someone with a deep understanding of inventory, logistics flow-through, and health and safety standards. The successful candidate will also have a strong understanding of WMS software, as well as experience shipping within Canada and the U.S. (must have). Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) experience is also a nice-to-have for this role.
