Argentus is thrilled to be working with another new client, this one in the Telecommunications Manufacturing & Distribution space. This company is known for their flexibility, speed and holistic approach to Supply Chain Management, with a significant footprint in North America. Today, they’re looking for a Supply & Demand Planning Analyst!
This individual will work out of the company’s Mississauga office, performing a vital role in the organization’s Planning function while reporting to the Director of Supply & Demand Planning. You will collaborate with the sales team to review forecasts and set inventory targets to anticipate the company’s inventory needs from a Supply planning perspective. You will carry out purchase orders with vendors, striving to maximize customer fill rate and minimize excess inventory and capital expenditures. You will monitor customers’ orders, making sure they move through the Supply Chain while maintaining excellent data, reporting and acting on any issues as they arise in the process. You will also work with vendors to find opportunities for cost savings, rebates, and payment terms through negotiation. In general, you will become a subject matter expert within the Supply & Demand Planning function, uncovering opportunities for continuous improvement in the process.
This is a great role for an analytical candidate who can thread the needle between Supply and Demand planning to achieve efficiency in the Supply Chain and meet key performance indicators. Our client is looking for someone with a strong understanding of Supply Chain Management principles, strong excel skills, and experience in both Demand and Supply Planning.
