The company based, in their Montreal office, focuses on a customer centric approach, as well as a flexible schedule for their employees to accommodate everyday life. They are looking to expand their team with a bilingual Supply Chain Specialist who is ready to bring their company greater success.
The Supply Chain Specialist will be reporting to the Manager of Inventory Planning as well as the Director. This Specialist will be developing and implementing strategies to facilitate cost reduction as well as projects based optimization related to the supply chain as well as making recommendations to the Manager of Inventory Planning based on various analyses that you perform. The position will include working in collaboration with other sectors and departments on projects, as well as interacting with internal partners to conduct analyses. The position is currently based at home, however there is possibility for this to change in future.
The successful bright and eager candidate will have at least 8 years of experience, and have the bandwidth to manage multiple projects. In a team that is largely Francophone — meetings are based in French and it is a necessity. It is preferred that you have a Bachelors in Engineering although operations, supply chain, and other relevant fields will be considered. You should have experience working with a high volume of SKUs, for example at least 10K SKUs, as well as very strong Project Management and Excel skills.
