This company has an excellent, proven technology as well as a solid leadership group – today they’re looking for a Supply Chain Manager to help build out the function as they continue to grow!
Note: this role is mixed remote/in-person at the company’s Downtown Toronto office for now due to COVID-19, so the successful candidate will be located in or willing to commute to Toronto.
The Supply Chain Manager will work to build and lead a solid Supply Chain team towards best-in-class performance in the industry. This also means developing policies, procedures, and technology solutions to help set the company’s Supply Chain as a key driver of competitive advantage in the marketplace. You will be the primary liaison with suppliers, overseeing materials and systems purchases, RF(x) events, supplier negotiations, and all of the end-to-end processes involved with the organization’s Supply Chain success, including Inventory, Planning, and Logistics. You will also work to develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to accurately measure Supply Chain performance as the company continues to expand. In short, it’s an excellent holistic opportunity for a proven Supply Chain manager with experience in these various facets.
This position is perfect for someone with the agility required for a startup, someone who is looking to grow with a fast-growing organization. It’s a highly entrepreneurial office that requires an individual who can look at the long term big picture, but also roll up their sleeves for daily deliverables. At least 7 years of progressive Supply Chain experience is a must for this role – with a background in manufacturing, particularly electronics hardware, with a strong understanding of the North American market.
