Today, they’re looking for a Supply Chain Director!
Working at the company’s facility in the West End GTA, the Supply Chain Director will be a key leader within the organization, developing an overall Supply Chain strategy that encompasses Logistics and Sourcing, before executing on that strategy to deliver operational and cost improvements to the company. You will lead the Supply Chain team and build close relationships with IT, Manufacturing, and other functions to execute on projects. Key areas of responsibility include: Logistics and Transportation, Sourcing (direct materials for manufacture), Inventory Management, and Material Planning. The organization is currently going through a major Logistics transformation, implementing a new Transportation Management (TMS) and GTM system, while also evolving their sourcing strategy, so they’re looking for someone who seeks to challenge the status quo and deliver transformational, positive change within organizations.
This is a potentially career-making holistic Supply Chain role for the right leader. It’s an opportunity to use your understanding of Supply Chain strategy to help move a world-class organization into the future. At least 10+ years of manufacturing Supply Chain experience is a must for this role, including proven competency in Logistics, Sourcing, and business transformations. Note: our client is particularly looking for people with in-house Logistics experience, which is more relevant to their needs than 3PL experience.
