They’re in the midst of a Procurement transformation, implementing category and supplier relationship management strategies, and looking for a number of Strategic Sourcing professionals in a variety of categories and levels to help them execute this transformation!
This client is looking for individuals at the Associate Manager and Manager level, on both a contract and permanent basis, to work within in at least one of the categories of Construction or Facilities Services. In short, you’ll work to leverage this company’s massive spend to find opportunities for cost savings, efficiency, and strategic supplier relationships. You’ll use a deep understanding of the marketplace to provide insights on category spend and the supplier marketplace. You’ll work to get buy-in from internal stakeholders and clients towards the company’s ongoing Strategic Sourcing initiatives, and then execute and/or support those initiatives: you’ll conduct project identification, the RFx process, analysis of total cost of ownership, vendor evaluation, selection, negotiation and onboarding.
The ideal candidates for these positions will have a significant track record of Procurement service and cost savings within the manufacturing, retail or consumer goods industry. They will have also worked for at least 5-7 years on a strategic, high-spend level within one of the above-mentioned indirect categories.
