Working out of the company’s office in Toronto, this senior specialist will align Procurement strategy with business needs, building relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders to deliver cost savings and improved service delivery within the IT – software category. This includes software renewals, software maintenance, and SaaS. Within this category, you will work to find sourcing opportunities, conduct analysis of the market and sourcing strategy, lead the end-to-end RF(x) process, negotiate with suppliers, and support the process of supplier relationship management (SRM) after new contracts are onboarded. You will also work to capture any software spend not currently captured by the organization’s sourcing strategy, and in short, leverage the company’s considerable spend to drive cost savings and process improvements in the Procurement process. Our client is looking for an individual with strong IT sourcing experience, particularly with IBM, Oracle, and Informatica. At least 4-5 years of IT Procurement experience is a must for this bread-and-butter Procurement role in a high-impact category. Specifically, they looking for an individual with strong experience in SaaS Procurement – including various agreement models for cloud services.
