Argentus is working with one of our top clients on a confidential search for a Senior Procurement role. This client is one of the most well-known brands in the world, with a culture of relentless innovation and supply chain excellence. Today, they’re looking for a Senior Manager of Global Sourcing Transformation.
Working out of the company’s office in Mississauga, ON, — with a significant amount of travel to global destinations – this individual will be a key component of the company’s Procurement transformation. You will work as part of this business transformation into a centre-led framework for strategic sourcing on a global scale. This means acting as a partner with stakeholders in global markets to assess their level of Procurement maturity and help lead them through transformation to evolve their supplier strategy and category management. This includes acting as boots on the ground in these locations to get buy-in, advocate for the company’s global transformation, and drive change. Strong presentation, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills are a must, as you’ll be a point person for the company’s ongoing Procurement evolution. Further to that, you will pick up on insights from stakeholders to drive continuous improvement within the company’s sourcing function as it continues its ongoing transformation. Note: this position doesn’t involve sourcing directly.
A very strong background in Strategic Procurement is a must for this role, with an emphasis on stakeholder engagement. If you’re the type of Procurement professional whose strongest skills lie in getting buy-in from within the business, this could be a career-making role. The ideal candidate has at least 5-7 years of progressive Procurement experience, deep category knowledge, as well as a demonstrated track record of building stakeholder buy-in during
Strategic Procurement transformations. A firm grasp of analytics and data are also a must for this role. If this sounds like you or someone in your network, reach out to Argentus today! Call 416 364 9919 or email a current resume to email@example.com.
