Argentus is pleased to be working with another top client in the consumer goods space on a great Supply Chain role. This company, awarded one of Canada’s Best Companies for the past number of years, has a strong portfolio of brands, supporting a number of retail and wholesale customers. Today, they’re looking for a Senior Demand Planner!
Working out of the company’s Etobicoke, ON office (remote to start), this individual will take on responsibility for managing company forecasts for a variety of SKUs as part of the company’s S&OP process. You will develop forecasting KPIs to help standardize S&OP processes and support the company’s inventory position across its distribution and warehousing organization. Using strong data analysis, you will identify variations in forecasts compared to actual performance, and rectify those variations in consultation with a variety of internal stakeholders in the business. You will lead monthly CPFR and S&OP meetings, using intelligence gathered from sales, marketing, and other internal stakeholder groups to fine-tune and improve the forecast. In addition, you will support the company’s retail customers through taking an active role in the development of CPFR strategies for retail inventory.
In short, this is an impactful senior-level sole contributor role for a Demand Planning expert with at least 8+ years of experience in the discipline. Exceptional data analysis and excel skills are a must for this role, as well as the ability to communicate insights well to a variety of stakeholders in an organization.
