Regional Logistics Manager
Argentus is excited to be working with one of our clients, a leader within their Manufacturing category, family-owned but with a global scope and significant penetration into a number of different markets Today, they are looking for a Regional Logistics Manager to bring on their team!
As one of the regional managers in the country, based out of the company’s Brampton facility, you will be taking on a leadership role within the Logistics function. The Regional Logistics Manager will source and negotiate with freight and logistics carriers, and develop additional carrier sources. Our client is searching for someone who is always looking for ways to develop more efficient and improved methods, processes, and systems, and who is able to troubleshoot to resolve any logistics issues as they arise. The person who will take on this position will be working to optimize all services and meet all commitments for customer satisfaction based on development of KPIs.
The successful candidate for this role needs to have at least 5+ years of Logistics and Warehousing experience within a big manufacturing organization – with high volumes and high dollars – and a strong understanding of logistics costs, routings, timelines, modeling, and cost within North America specifically. Negotiations and operational experience working with carriers is also a must.
