Argentus is working on a new managerial role with a longstanding Manufacturing client. This company is a leader within their Manufacturing category, family-owned but with a global scope and significant penetration into a number of different markets. Today they’re looking for a Raw Materials Manager to help with their production!
Working out of the company’s Brampton facility (with a significant amount of travel to other production facilities), the Raw Materials Manager will take on ownership for control of raw materials, including purchasing, planning, storage, in coordination with the company’s Supply and Production plans. Even though you won’t be directly responsible for purchasing, you will work closely with the procurement team to meet the organization’s Supply Chain goals from a raw material standpoint. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, you will be a point person for maintenance of safety stock levels, inventory accuracy, and a vital link in the chain for the Production planning process. Further to that, you’ll also act as a leader within the Supply Chain organization, finding creative ways to improve and optimize the company’s position.
The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of Demand, Capacity, and/or Supply Planning experience in a production environment. Our client is also looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and/or Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
