Today, they’re looking for a Procurement Specialist for their Ottawa, Kingston or Montreal office (location is flexible).
Working independently within the Construction category, this individual with take on sourcing and purchasing duties with the goal of achieving cost savings and advancing the company’s purchasing strategy. You will be a tactical front-line Procurement contributor, managing the entire RF(x) process for assigned goods and services, benchmarking results against existing Key Performance Indicators. You will work within the company’s geographic footprint and product offerings to realize quality, efficiency, cost savings, and process improvements. In addition, you will form strong working relationships with key stakeholders within the organization, acting as an ambassador for Procurement working to maximize value at every step of the chain. This position is a strong Procurement contributor, with excellent potential for growth and advancement in the organization.
Our client is looking for an individual with significant experience in the end-to-end Procurement process, as well as a strong understanding of the technical aspects of Procurement in the Construction category – an understanding that requires at least 5 years of experience. Experience in a company within the industrial industry – ideally Construction – is an ideal fit.
