This Purchasing Project Manager role will work out of the company’s Etobicoke, ON facility, and act as a point of contact with various stakeholders in the business as the face of the Procurement function. This stakeholder interaction means taking a leadership within Sourcing for new projects including: new product launches, product discontinuations, changes to products or processes. You will work within established budgets and timelines to deliver Procurement excellence on, acting as the voice of the business’s stakeholders within the sourcing function. This means working closely with Supply Chain on MRP and inventory issues, working with marketing on launches and other product changes, and working with operations to enact process improvements within the business. You will also use excellent stakeholder and relationship-building skills to help implement sourcing-driven changes within the business.
This role is a great fit for a leader with at least 5 years of Procurement experience dealing with a variety of stakeholders. A strong understanding of direct (raw materials) sourcing is a must, as are exceptional relationship-building, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
