They are a multinational organization with Canadian headquarters in Markham and operations the world over. Seen as a coveted employer, they have come to us in the past to help fill their Supply Chain needs. Today, they have come to us in search of a Procurement Manager for their Claims category.
The Procurement Manager will design, lead, and implement third party vendor strategies to improve the organization’s competitiveness in the Claims category. This will involve working with and forming teams across a variety of functions in the organization to improve supply chain and vendor effectiveness. You will also manage vendors with the goal of improving overall service, tracking KPIs, vendor scorecards, and audits. It’s an opportunity to affect wide change across a world class organization by acting as a champion for 3rd party suppliers, and ensuring stakeholder engagement and involvement – in other words, what strategic Procurement managers dream of.
The successful candidate doesn’t necessarily need to have claims category experience, but strategic Procurement experience in a wide variety of indirect categories is a must.
