Argentus is working with one of our most interesting Food Production clients on a new Manufacturing role! This company, based in Southern Ontario, has Canada-wide service, as well as a reputation for product excellence, and an innovative approach to new product development that has allowed it to make its mark on the industry over the past few decades. Today, they’re looking for two Plant Managers for their facilities in Southern Ontario!
The exact locations are confidential at this point (please reach out for more info!), but our client is hiring two plant managers, one for each facility. These individuals will take over leadership of the manufacturing facilities from a production standpoint, with a particular emphasis on finding opportunities for continuous improvement. You will work to constantly improve processes for food quality, employee health and safety, and overall productivity of the facility. This means working closely with plant personnel – through daily, weekly and monthly meetings – as well as coordinating overall manufacturing activities, developing labour plans, managing budgets, KPIs, and more. You will act as a champion for the production team, helping to build the organization by proactively managing and helping to upskill the team. In short, these are impactful people management/continuous improvement roles, perfect for any high-potential Food Production professional looking to move up in the industry.
Key requirements are: at least 8 years of experience in plant operations (including leadership) within the Food and Beverage Manufacturing or Pharmaceutical Industry. The successful candidate will also have a demonstrated track record of success with people management, as well as experience with budgetary oversight, labour plans, as well as developing continuous improvement within Manufacturing.
