This client is adding direct to consumer sales in Canada and improving their Supply Chain function as part of this initiative. Today, they’re looking for an Operations Planning Supervisor to help manage their operations and distribution function!
Working out of the organization’s Mississauga facility, the Operations Planning Supervisor will manage the flow of inventory through their distribution centre, back out to stores and direct to consumers. This means setting long-term strategy and processes for merchandise flow through the network, and acting proactively to implement that strategy and meet service levels to maximize throughput, customer service, and accuracy. You’ll work quickly to identify customer needs and maximize data to drive special projects, identify possible capital expenditure projects, and help act as a role model within the team to improve the overall productivity within the DC operations. In short, our client is looking for someone willing to take ownership of the brand, and adopt a highly analytical approach towards operations and distribution to help make their Supply Chain more competitive as they broaden their offering to consumers.
The successful candidate for this role will have at least 5 years of Supply Chain Management experience in the Retail, Distribution, or 3rd Party Logistics Inventory Industries.
