Argentus Supply Chain Recruiting is hiring for our client in the Food Production space. This is a globally-recognized company with a long history and dozens of recognizable Canadian brands. They’ve come to us with a contract for a National Logistics Analyst, a great opportunity to build your resume with a strong Supply Chain organization.
This is an excellent contract role for a recent Industrial Engineering graduate with an interest in Supply Chain Management. Supply Chain experience isn’t necessary, but you should have a strong interest in the field!
Working out of the organization’s west Toronto location, the National Logistics Analyst will work to provide analysis of the company’s warehousing and transportation activities. Strong skills with data analysis are a must, including strong skills with Microsoft Excel and Access. With an eye towards continuous improvement, the National Logistics Analysts will maximize profitability, efficiency, and cost. The successful candidate will also drive data collection and analysis for the organization’s warehouse layout, productivity, and capacity, driving understanding of Key Performance Indicators for that area as well as the company’s transportation function. They will also assist with project management on major company initiatives related to the company’s Logistics.
As mentioned, a recent Industrial Engineering graduate is an ideal fit for this role. Someone bilingual in French and English would be a great fit, but French isn’t a requirement for the role. If you have work experience in Consumer Goods, Food Production, or the Pharmaceutical industries, that’s also an asset. If this sounds like you or someone in your network looking to make their mark at a global company with an impactful contract opportunity, please don’t hesitate to reach out today!
