Argentus is excited to be working with a new client – a leader in the North American Energy industry. This construction company with a focus of bringing efficient energy across the continent from commercial buildings, to school campuses, medical institutions, developers, municipalities, and building owners alike, is looking for a Manager, Sourcing and Supply Chain Operations to join their team.
For this role, you will be reporting directly to the Vice President of Supply Chain Management. A major component of the Manger, Sourcing and Supply Chain Operations is collaborating and relationship building with internal stakeholders, getting to know their procurement needs, and attending those needs by leading sourcing projects. By identifying opportunities, you will bring cost savings and improvement opportunities across the board, as well as new suppliers, and solutions to any problems you uncover. You will be responsible for the new contracts as required, ensuring the existing contracts are following corporate guidelines, and maintaining a system to track the agreements.
The successful candidate will be a person who has extraordinary communication skills, ready for anything attitude, and a hunger for continuous improvement. This opportunity is open to someone who doesn’t come from a “classic” procurement background, but who has the ability to intricately work with data, managing it, interrupting it, and manipulating it, and ability to speak to strategic sourcing process.
