Argentus is thrilled to be working with a new client in the Manufacturing space, this time in the Pacific Northwest, USA. Today, they’re looking for a Supply Chain Director to primarily manage the areas of Purchasing, Planning, and Materials Management!
Working out of this client’s facility in the greater Bellingham, Washington area in the Pacific Northwest, this individual will take on a new position in leadership of various aspects of the Supply Chain function. This includes leading the company’s Procurement team to deliver stronger, collaborative relationships with existing vendors, as well as sourcing and building relationships with new vendors as necessary, to find the best value and reduce price variance for the raw materials needed for production. In addition, you will manage the S&OP process, as well as production planning and scheduling, to ensure efficient production to match the company’s demand forecast while improving the company’s inventory position. There is also a Process Improvement component, where you will be working to improve Procurement, Inventory, Planning and Materials Management processes to provide more efficiency and competitiveness across the company’s production and other Supply Chain. In this role, key performance indicators include percentage shipped on time, percentage shipping products, and inventory turns.

The successful candidate for this senior leadership role will have at least 10+ years of Supply Chain Management leadership (people management) experience, with strong competencies in raw materials Procurement, Vendor Relationship Management, Planning, and Materials Management.
