Our client is a leading manufacturer in the nutritional supplements industry. This company has a storied history in the industry, with strong research and development leading to bright prospects for continued growth. Today, they’re looking for a Demand Planner to help lead their forecasting initiatives at their office in scenic Coquitlam, B.C! What’s more, they’re willing to offer paid relocation for the right candidate.
The Demand Planner will develop a forecast for certain assigned segments of the company’s products, implementing the planning process to create an accurate portrait of ongoing demand for use in the company’s Supply Chain activities. This means aggregating data on different time horizons with business intelligence you’ve gathered in conjunction with the marketing, sales, finance and other functions within the organization, as well as your own external research about market factors affecting the assigned products. You will act as the pivot point in the company’s S&OP process, recommending solutions based on developed forecasts to maximize the company’s Supply Chain efficiency. You’ll also spearhead forecasts for new products being developed by the company, helping to develop new product launch plans and SKU rationalizations.
This company has a commitment to sustainability, as well as a great working culture and solid prospects for growth going forward. Their ideal candidate has at least 5 years of Demand Planning experience in the Consumer Goods or Manufacturing industries, and a strong understanding of S&OP processes.
