Argentus is thrilled to be working with one of our most longstanding clients in the financial services industry. This client has been on the forefront of bringing on contingent staff for high-impact, strategic Procurement positions, and today they’re on the lookout for a Contracts Manager!
Working out of the organization’s Mississauga office, (with a possibility for downtown Toronto or remote) the Contracts will be a point person for execution of new contracts in the organization’s IT Procurement. This is a senior-level position, with the opportunity to work independently and drive results in the IT space. You’ll work on managed services, SaaS, hardware purchases, software licensing, cloud computing, and others. You’ll help create contracts for this wide portfolio, and interface between the sourcing team, legal team, vendors, and IT stakeholders to provide high-level support throughout the contracts process, and then help to maintain and organize those contracts going forward.
Our client is looking for someone with very strong contracts management experience (i.e. negotiating and drafting rather than vendor management), and a deep understanding of contracts particularly in the IT space. Excellent communications skills are a must, as is the ability to interface with all levels of the business as well as suppliers. A sourcing background is an added plus for this role. For the right candidate, this contract offers all the benefits of taking on high-skilled contingent work: flexibility, solid compensation, and the ability to work on diverse and interesting projects at a world-class organization. If this sounds like you or someone in your network, reach out to Argentus today! Call 416 364 9919 or email a current copy of your resume to email@example.com!
