We have a new and exciting opportunity to present to our network. Our client is a public sector powerhouse located in Toronto and they are a household name and considered to be an excellent employer! Within the last few years, they have made a major push to improve their Supply Chain team to really turn themselves into a world class organization. They are currently looking to hire a Supply Chain professional to work on a contract position.
Working out of the Toronto head office, our client is searching for an Assistant Contracts Administrator! This individual will report to the Manager of Contracts Administration and will directly work with Senior Contract Administrators to manage and perform tasks related to contracts within the construction, engineering, and technical services procurement categories. Working within the RFP process, this role will be responsible for coordinating and communicating with bidders, assessing the bidders and proposals, and eventually selecting and notifying successful vendors. As a public sector organization, this bidding process is very important to corporate operations! Once the vendors are selected, the Assistant Contract Administrator will assess their performance and ensure they are honoring contractual agreements.
Suitable candidates will require 2-3 years of experience working within Supply Chain, ideally within a contracts management capacity where they worked within the whole RFP lifecycle. Strong mathematical, MS excel, and organizational skills are paramount. They will need to be able to communicate effectively, work efficiently in teams, and be results and goal oriented to work to get the job done! Interested?
